The Orchard Cottage is a truly special, four-star escape designed by Sir Basil Spence. Full of character and quiet charm, the cottage looks out across sweeping views of the Cheviot Hills, offering a peaceful setting for romantic stays or relaxed family getaways. You’re also welcome to bring up to two well-behaved dogs along to enjoy it with you.
Inside, the cottage sleeps up to five guests across three comfortable bedrooms:

Bedroom 2: Super king or twin
Bedroom 3: Single
The ground floor is made for slow, cosy living, with an open-plan kitchen and sitting area centred around a log-burning stove. There’s a bathroom with a bath and shower downstairs, along with an additional WC upstairs.
Step outside to enjoy the garden, or make the most of shared spaces including a games room and tennis court, perfect for slower days at the retreat.
We’re cycle-friendly, with a secure lockable room for bikes and additional storage lockers available on site.
