The Orchard cottage is an enchanting property designed by Sir Basil Spence. In 2021 The Orchard cottage received a Gold 4* rating from Visit England. Set within a beautiful private orchard and with panoramic views of the Cheviot hills, the cottage is ideal as a romantic retreat or hideaway for families. The cottage is also dog friendly for up to 2 well behaved furry friends!

Guests will receive a welcome pack on arrival: a loaf of freshly baked bread, milk, 6 free range eggs from Chatton Farm, and a pot of local honey.
The ground floor accommodation comprises of an open plan sitting room and kitchen with a log burning stove, the bathroom is on the ground floor with bath/shower combination and an additional WC upstairs.
Guests have full access to the garden, moreover there is a games room on site as well as a tennis court.

We are cycle friendly and have a secure lockable room onsite for bikes with additional lockers for storage.
Please book your cottage and fishing separately. Accommodation and fishing can be booked using the different booking systems we have available.
Remember to book the fishing for the days you require during your stay.
Day rods can also be booked the same way.
